Day 3
The third day will have a relaxed start as you spend the morning exploring the magical harbour town of Tenby with its narrow streets and colourful buildings. If you wish, you can take one of the many boat trips that are available from the harbour. At a time agreed the previous day, your driver will meet you at your hotel. If you are staying in the town itself, this would likely be late morning / lunch time. However, if you are staying on the outskirts of town, or just outside Tenby, they will meet you earlier in the day and drive you into the medieval town.

Leaving Tenby, you will be taken through the Pembrokeshire Countryside to the town of Pembroke, where you can visit Pembroke Castle. Birth place of King Henry VII, the first Tudor King. Day 4

The Penultimate day of the tour is quite possibly the best day of the tour, and maybe any day of any of our tours. We will take you to Dolphins, the West Wales coast. Two of the best roads in Wales, and an erry abandoned Iron Mine.

Your driver will meet you at you hotel at around 9:30am, and you will be taken along the coast to the town of New Quay. Here you will have the chance to head off into the Irish Sea on a Dolphin spotting excursion.

Once back on dry land, your driver will take you along the spectactular West Wales coast line. In our opinion, this is one of the best roads in Wales, with some of the best scenery along the way. At times, the road goes right along the cliff tops, providing dramatic views out across the Irish Sea. In other places, you are presented with stunning views inland across the Cambrian Mountain range. There is a good chance you will want to take pictures are you are driven along this road, and your driver will be more than happy to stop as and when requested, and may even suggest a couple of vantage points your photos.

Eventually you will arrive in the Victorian Seaside resort of Aberystwyth. Home to the first University in Wales, where King Charles studied for a year to learn Welsh and about the Welsh Language before his investiture as Prince of Wales. In Aberystwyth you will have the chance to ride the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway. The 2nd longest Funicular Railway in the UK, this cable pulled railway takes you up the cliffs on the edge of the town. At the top, you can use the Camera Obscura to see over 60 miles in all directions, including the peaks of 26 Welsh Mountains. Or you can spend the time walking along the beach, or exploring the arcades or maybe getting a light lunch on the promenade.

At a time, and in a place agreed with your driver, you will rendezvous once with them, and they will take you from Aberystwyth and into the Cambrian Mountains. They will take you to Devils Bridge, where you will have the chance to visit the Waterfall, and see three bridges built on top of each each other. Built in such away, and in such a place that according to legend, they were built by the Devil himself, as they could not have been built by man.

Departing Devils Bridge, you will be taken over The Cambrian Mountain Range, and past the abandoned and erry abandoned Cwmystwyth Lead Mines. These deserted and ruined buildings in the middle of no where, against the backdrop of the rugged mountains, look like the setting for a horror movie, and never fail to amaze.

You will continue along one of our favourite roads in the whole country. A near deserted road across the Cambrian Moutains. This spectacular road has to be seen to be believed as you are taken through the wilderness where you may not see another vehicle for around 15 miles.

On the otherside of the Cambria Mountains, you will descend through the Elan Valley, famous for its many reservoirs, and arrive in the town of Rhyader, where your driver will take you to your hotel for the night in the very heart of Wales
