The tour stops briefly on top of the Mountain overlooking Tower Coillery. The last coillery to close in South Wales, and now how to Zip World. The top of The Rhigos also provides stunning views across the Brecon Beacons National Park themselves

You will then be taken down the otherside, and into the Brecon Beacons National Park, arriving at the Penderyn Distillery in time to take the 11:00am tour of the distillery. On the tour you will be taken around the Distillery, and shown how they make their award winning products, aswell as learn about the history of Whisky Distilling in Wales.

.
At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to sample some of their whisky (over 18’s only) aswell as purchase a bottle or two to take with you.
After the tour of the distillery, you will head further into the Brecon Beacons, stopping for lunch if you wish, before your driver takes you to the start of the Four Waterfalls Walk.
.
.
The Four Waterfalls Walk starts near Porth-yr-Ogof, which is the largest Cave opening in Wales. From here you can explore the cave, or take the four Waterfalls Walk and visit some of the best falls in Waterfall Country. This walk is steep in places, and by its nature, can be wet underfoot, so appropriate footwear should be worn
.
.
At the end of the tour, you will returning back at your hotel at around 5:30pm.

There is an additional fee for the Penderyn Tour which is not included in our tour fee.

Pre-booking is not essential, and it is possible to pay on the door on the door on the day, however this would be dependant on their availability on the day. We therefore recomend pre-booking your tickets directly for them. We are scheduled to arrive at the distillery around 10:45am, and this allows for a short stop on top of The Rhigos Mountain. Should you pre-book your tickets, we recommend booking the 11:00am tour. It may be possible to take the Penderyn Tour after the Four Waterfalls Walk, in which case we would recommend booking the 3:00pm tour at the distillery. If, due to the availability of Penderyns Tours, you need, or want to book an alternative different, please let us know and we will be happy to advise and adjust the tour accordingly
